3 carrots, peeled
1 bunch of turnips, peeled
½ cup sour cream
½ cup cilantro,
2 tablespoons prepared salsa, or chopped pickled jalapenos
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
the turnips and carrots on a box grater and put into
a large mixing bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
You can eat right away or allow to sit for 30 minutes
up until overnight, the flavors will combine and change
slightly, but liquid will drain out of the vegetables.
