Kohlrabi is available throughout the cooler fall, winter
and spring, although, we will have it in just a few
boxes each year as people are not familiar with it.
It has a flavor similar to broccoli and can be prepared
in the same way, both raw and cooked.
Usage and Cooking Strategies:
The bulb of the plant should be peeled and is great
eaten raw or sautéed in a little butter and garlic.
Sauté the greens, like spinach or kale.
Remove the leaves from the bulb of the plant when you
store it in the refrigerator. Use within 4-5 days.
